PASTOR AARON E. RAY
As a leader, Pastor Aaron Ray is highly regarded for his boldness, his relatability, and his vision for the growth of the church through fellowship, and outreach. As a church pastor, he is well respected for his passion for the cause of Christ and the local church, and for preaching messages that change mindsets and ministries. Pastor Ray is steadfastly focused on saving souls and helping all through this journey we call life. He is a pastor who loves God, his church, and the community.
Since becoming Pastor of Mt. Hermon in 2012, the church has more than doubled its congregation, undergone a full renovation, and become a visible force within the Ft. Worth community.
Pastor Ray has a strong belief of witnessing to the unsaved, but also showing God’s love by leading by example to his congregation and others.
Pastor Ray is incredibly involved in the community. He is a member of Dads of Dunbar, a mentor to the Fort Worth ISD, and currently working on community efforts with the City of Ft. Worth, Texas Wesleyan University, and the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School Project.
Pastor Ray is a graduate of Southern Bible Institute where he earned his Bachelor of Theology degree.
In 1984, he married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Ray. They have 2 children, Tyeshia Hammock (Lance) and Somalia Gibson (Oranta). They also have 4 grandchildren: Cayman, Jaren, Kenyan, and Addyson.
